Euthanasia opinions

The law on the legalization of euthanasia was adopted first in the Kingdom of the Netherlands in April 2002 - the first year. According to him, euthanasia, or, as it is called doctors assist suicide, is no longer a punishable criminal act. In the country there are five committees, which received applications from terminally ill patients, and where the application of the death of such patients, signed by the doctor, either meet or not. According to statistics, on average, meet up to 40% of petitions. In 2002 - year the number of patients subjected to euthanasia, 1882 amounted rights. Typically, most requests come from patients diagnosed with "cancer prognosis without the slightest improvement." All patients aged 17 years may apply independently, with the participation of directly treating physician. Patients who have not turned 17 years old, must obtain the consent of parents. Request for euthanasia are considered independent concilium of doctors and the patient must necessarily be a citizen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. According to the Ministry of Health Act, legalizing euthanasia was absolutely necessary, the Government has given a kind of legitimacy previously prohibited acts, however, repeatedly by many doctors around the world. Several of these unauthorized transactions were committed and in the Kingdom during the period from 1991 - the first on 96 - and years. The population of the Kingdom of the Netherlands welcomes this law, believing that thanks to him terminally ill citizens were able to escape from life voluntarily and safely.

On the other hand, death itself has never needed or in whose care, much less in aid of his social rights and "institutions". It can not be in the life of two absolutely identical human beings, not exactly the same happens in the lives and deaths of two absolutely identical. Each specific human death - this is a very complex, deeply personal and incomprehensible to the process of consciousness, as it happens not only at the physical level and does not end just physical death.
"Standard" death can not be. For each death is a specific life with its ups and chutes, errors and joys, and finds confusing. At the time of death, everyone gets an opportunity to "revise" the content of its own "black box". His mistakes, misconceptions and the weakness of humans have to realize and perestradat. The form of death - is the result of concentrated human life itself and its immediate ancestors. The so-called death are removing the flour for the human soul and lessons of courage, wisdom and strength to his loved ones.
The decision on the use of euthanasia rights should be absolutely intelligent and informed, and concrete form of life care for themselves let everyone chooses himself.

It happens that tyazhlo and the terminally sick person coming to hate his homeland. During the meal, which he inflicts them, for what they see as he turns into a vegetable. Indeed, sometimes it takes years and decades… Each State, respectful of spiritual, cultural and moral traditions of its citizens, can solve this problem by means of special hospitals - hospices, which desperately sick people can finish their lives with dignity (without resorting to euthanasia). It is worthy to finish, rather than live the last days in poverty and terrible flour just because someone stole another one million, which could be relevant medicines purchased or built appropriate institutions. In England alone, today more than 160 hospices. In Russia today, these institutions just over 50.

For there is an alternative to euthanasia. This palliative care - active comprehensive care for patients whose disease is not susceptible to cure, as well as controlling pain and other symptoms, the decision of psychological, social and spiritual problems. The goal of palliative care - to make the fullest possible quality of life for the patient and his family. Many do not get optimal treatment because of the fact that the nearest hospitals do not have the necessary equipment, or medical staff does not have the necessary knowledge and skills to exercise care for terminally ill patients. To address this problem is not euthanasia, but by a broader learning the correct and effective methods of care.
